They call it an 'unconference'. But it's basically a group of photographers (pro and hobbyist alike) gathering together to share some of their experiences in the industry.
It's themed 'The Wedding', so it featured wedding photographers who have been in the industry for a few years now and who are really really good.
Which leads me to tell you how much of a noobie i felt around them >.<
Seriously, I don't think i've ever seen so many 5D MkII and D700s in one room before. Gear aside, their photos are probably photos that i can only dream of being able to capture =/
The second day is tomorrow, and i'm hoping to learn a trick or two and get inspired to go and try some new stuff :)

work has really been kicking my ass. and it's only just the first week. bloody hell

Mom has this thing where she absolutely despises using plastic water bottles (something about cancer) to keep water and this is the alternative she came up with :P
Right, so i know i've missed out on my project 365 for the last two days. There's actually a very good reason for that!
i finally finally got my Fisheye 2 after god knows how long of thinking. :DDD
I brought it down to Malacca (at which i ate so much and found out that i put on 1 kilo upon arriving home :P) and was snapping away with it throughout the whole trip that my poor dslr was neglected =/
And because of that, the photos for those two days have to be delayed a little because i need to get the photos developed.
I just sent the first roll of film for developing and printing today so they should be done tomorrow. Will definitely share them here when i get them! Can't wait! :D
Other than that, nothing much has been going on.
As for me, work has been good. On top of the usual going to work and coming back in the evening, i brought my running gear to work with me today and went jogging at KLCC park after work. It's about 300m from my office to the park and the run to get there is pretty exhilarating. All the cars and people that you have to maneuver around is pretty fun :P
Nothing much else. Am gonna continue cleaning up my room (yes it's still in a mess >.<) before crashing for the night. Taa!

Exams finished two days ago and I've been pretty hell bent on making this week (and my only week) of holidays count because I start internship next Monday.
Monday night was spent watching Star Trek in town with the mates after our last finals paper for the year.
But the movie turned out to be awesome! Very nice balance of humour and action. And I loved the storyline!
One of the must watch movies of the year!
Tuesday

Today I woke up at 5.30am. five thirty a.m. Earliest i have woken up this whole year I tell you.
We were supposed to go to KL to do some street photography and crazy friend wanted to reach KL by 6am.
Said crazy friend also did not realize that the trains only start operating at 6.30am -___-"
We reached KL at about 7.30, just in time for the rush hour crowd and here are some photos.
Pricey though, at RM2.80 for one. I had the Chocolate Glazed. The dough was just right, not too heavy, not too light. but it was a bit too sweet imho.
Would put a photo of the doughnut here but it doesn't look very appetizing cause the lighting was pretty bad =/
My hair's brown already! :D Finally got it dyed yesterday (after countless complaints from my classmates. Guy classmates sommore. -_-)
Not particularly a lot of photos cause by the time it was 12, we were already so tired and the heat was getting to us.
Funny part is that i'm still tired now =/
Gonna do some unpacking first (yes i haven't unpacked >.<) before going to bed.

Last paper tomorrow, that's why :P
After that it's cleaning up, packing (i really hope i can fit everything into my car :S), a nice dinner with the mates and back home the following day.
Once I get home, I'm going to get mom and dad to bring me to that Bak Kut Teh place in Klang that they've been raving about, go for Banana Leaf with someone (see Ryan, if you were still around, that someone would probably be you!), have Burger Dadah and most importantly, Maggi Kari Sup (omg *slurp*).
Can't wait, can't wait! :D
