The night out on Friday, i would say, was much needed for me. I had so much fun and clubbing in Ipoh really isn't that bad after all :p
Am going all out with my books right now and my first paper is tomorrow afternoon.
Following weeks are gonna be insane but am definitely looking forward to the holidays after that!
And so it begins...
When I say rockstars, I am of course referring to One Buck Short.
Mooky, who totally rocks as a vocalist
I really love how these photos turned out! All of them just photograph so well and there was just that chemistry between them and the camera.
I sent the guys these photos a while back and I really do hope that they liked it. =)
On another note, I have another 2 papers to go till I am officially over with my first degree year in uni.
3 more years to go (yeah, *that* long!).
I really really cannot wait to get home because I have so many things that I really want to do.
And also because life here is getting more boring by the day.
gosh, i didn't realize that i haven't updated in close to 5 days!
my apologies though. i've been busy with so many things, i lost track.
it's already my study week for me. which means that it's only another 1 week till my finals.
and i'm kinda worried.
my coursework marks aren't as good as they could have been this time around.
so i'll have to work twice as hard for my finals.
so not looking forward to that =(
On a brighter note, i am looking forward to what i'll be doing during my holidays!
The highlight of my holidays is definitely being able to go for the Assumption Worlds Universities Debate Competition in Thailand! (Much love to my dad for this <3 )
It is the biggest debating competition held every year that involves universities from all over the world in one of the most gorgeous universities in Thailand.
it can't get any better than that! =D
I'll be going to Thailand a day earlier than the registration day and coming back one day after the last day of the competition. i''ll be able to go around Bangkok for some shopping and some photo-snapping with this extra time!
Whopee!
Singapore is also on my list of places to go to.
I miss my brother and my sister so so much! and i wonder how big Bailey has gotten too!
I just really love going to singapore because i get total independence there. I can go wherever i want, whenever i want.
Their public transportation service is excellent and you can access the whole of Singapore with it.
And the best part is that the place is so much safer compared to KL.
Some retail therapy and some lazing around there would do me much good!
And hopefully i'll be able to go to Sentosa Island this time around.
Other than that, i might head up to Penang and down to Malacca and East to Kota Kinabalu too!
These three places are still in the planning stages though.
All this in one month and a half. So little time, so many places to go to!
Suddenly i can't wait for my exams to be over! XD
Where will you be going this holidays?
hey everyone,
i know i haven't really been updating.
blame that on my finals that has made my life mundane and boring =(
but there's good news!
tomorrow morning will be my last paper and then i'm off for 1 and a half monthsssss!!!
holidayyyyysssssss babyyyyy!!!
i can't wait!
i haven't really planned what to do this holidays...
however i do foresee a part-time job (yes i think this might actually work out!), a trip to singapore, a trip to penang, a trip to one of the beaches, loads of visits to the cinema and the purchase of my dslr!
gosh, i do hope i get my dslr first before all those trips so that there will be gorgeous photos to put up!
and to top it all off, me and my bunch of friends are gonna go watch Pirates of the Caribbean tomorrow night!
whooopeeee!
don't you just love holidays? =D
i just turned 19 today! =D
things have been really good!
i'm really happy that a lot of people wished me happy birthday! hugs to each and everyone of you. you know who you are =)
i had friends calling me from australia wishing me happy birthday (Wai Keen and Su Ann, thanks you two!),
i had friends singing happy birthday over the phone for me (Irving and Buntal, that was really really sweet! edit: Danial did too, but 49 minutes late lol!),
countless people in my uni somehow knew that it was my birthday (i was shocked that almost everyone knew! thank you!),
old friends and new friends wishing me over msn and gtalk and sending me testimonials over friendster!
a gazillion sms-es from people all around!
thank you all for your kind wishes! if you are one of the above, *hugs*
and you will always have that one call from your dad at 5pm of the day saying that he didn't forget but merely called later to scare you into thinking that he forgot. a total classic =) (but i still had a feeling he forgot and covered up =p)
kor and jie in singapore and mom, thank you =) love you guys!
This was probably the birthday that i received the most birthday greetings, and it's really touching =')
Thank you all for making it really great! it really made me feel appreciated =)
oh and a birthday bonus for me too i guess - i think i did quite okay in my maths test just now =D
you have another 4 days left to study.
yes, the final hurdle is the hardest, but you've got to give it all you've got!
don't let the final one pull you down just like the last few ones have. you never learn from your mistakes, do you?
you've been doing good so far, don't get complacent and become lazy. sweetness is just another 1 and a half weeks away. till then suffer a bit like crazy. keep your mind working and feed your brain with those formulas and concepts. you know why? because you can! and you will!
and it will all be okay. because after that, i'll be gone, my arch-enemy will be back and you can have all the fun in the world for 2 months! yes! so bear my presence for now. shut that laptop. flip your books out and start studying!
and NO, the heavy rain outside is not an excuse for you to not study either.
from,
your nerdy side.
